alecee 0 Posted November 28, 2005 Didn't use the polarizer and I'm amazed by the clarity in the water. Not much reflection - must be the low light. What do you think? Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted November 28, 2005 I think this is beautiful with the inclusion of the foreground rocks & the bare branches. Link to comment

Tuhin 2 Posted November 29, 2005 I liked this composition more Alec , from cybershot 717 via D70 to now D2x , quite an evolution as an artist :) Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted November 29, 2005 Cherlyn, Julio, it was shot handheld at 1/30 so it counld have been sharper if I used my tripod. Unfortunately the light was changing fast so no time for that. Tuhin, thanks for the short note, guess I've outgrown some of my cameras but I still cherish the D70 and will continue to use it as I love the features. Looking forward to trying out the D200 when it is available. Link to comment
pulok 1 Posted November 29, 2005 Lovely subtle colours. Like the composition very much. Regards... Link to comment
salvatore.mele 1 Posted November 29, 2005 I like the layering of cold and warm colours, and the way you've all shades of RedGreenBlue. It works well. At the same time, the choice of clearly putting the branches against the water and below the horizon works very well for the composition of that side of the shot. Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted November 30, 2005 Thanks Pulok. Salvatore the branches are there as it is - not staged by me. But you got a point there. It's aesthetically very pleasing. Perhaps placed there previously by another clever photographer? ^_^ Link to comment
