Didn't use the polarizer and I'm amazed by the clarity in the water.

Not much reflection - must be the low light. What do you think?

I liked this composition more Alec , from cybershot 717 via D70 to now D2x , quite an evolution as an artist :)

Cherlyn, Julio, it was shot handheld at 1/30 so it counld have been sharper if I used my tripod. Unfortunately the light was changing fast so no time for that.

Tuhin, thanks for the short note, guess I've outgrown some of my cameras but I still cherish the D70 and will continue to use it as I love the features. Looking forward to trying out the D200 when it is available.

I like the layering of cold and warm colours, and the way you've all shades of RedGreenBlue. It works well. At the same time, the choice of clearly putting the branches against the water and below the horizon works very well for the composition of that side of the shot.

Thanks Pulok. Salvatore the branches are there as it is - not staged by me. But you got a point there. It's aesthetically very pleasing. Perhaps placed there previously by another clever photographer? ^_^

Beautiful color..! I like the foreground with the rocks that're mixing into the water...and the bare branchres.. the best..!
