When were you at Big Bend and did you like the country you saw there, it's on my list of places to go?! Oh what a view. Wonderful use of silhouetes against the brush covered hillside. I love an uncluttered image and they seem to be one of your specialities. You should of made a side trip to Montana, it's only another 1500 miles or so.

This was a nice room to wake up in the morning ;-) Nice silhouette against this background ! I would probably sacrifice a bit from the bottom, since the grass detail in the shadow adds not so much to the image IMO

Susan, Chicos mountains are lovely and Big Bend is fantastic. I was there 7 days and it was not enough to see all the beauty. If you ever go, november seems to be a good time. Let me know I can give you some place tips. jana
