jamesbond5 0 Posted November 29, 2005 Yes Andrea. Top of the door was cuted by the telephoto lens. It was quick shot and I had no time for better cropping:( Link to comment

andrzej 0 Posted December 28, 2005 I like your photos very much, very good portfolio with interesting compositions, places and models. But this one made the greatest impression on me. Very moody and aescethic. Best regards.... Pozdrawiam serdecznie... Link to comment

hugh_hill 0 Posted June 26, 2007 First of all great picture just the type I like, As for the beggar woman, I have been to Italy many times this summer though I am hoping to see Venice for my first time and perhaps with it this lady too. If you see my work you will notice that I spend a lot of time on the streets and working with the homeless & vulnerable, I am saying this as while I was in Italy (Milan, Rome, Pisa, Genoa, & Florence ) I seen many similar beggars one could almost say that they were doppelgangers! On closer inspection though I found that all but one was actually old, you see it's the hands that give it away and where as these ghost like specters never show their faces, look at the hands as old hands look old! There is an old expression and it goes like this, Grandmother, what big hands you have! I see professional beggars all over and have had to learn to distinguish between them and the answer is really quite simple a true beggar does not need money what they really want is food or beverage (non alcoholic!!!) give them only this, I prefer to give money only to those who offer a skill or service as this instills dignity and helps them come to terms with their situation and grow out of it in time.
