will king 0 Posted November 27, 2005 The water looks mysterious. I love the mood of this photo and I think the branches on the lower left add a great deal to the composition. Link to comment

biskamp 1 Posted November 30, 2005 very nice shot. how do you like your d2x? in this reduced format the power of that camera can hardly be judged Link to comment
kahkityoong 0 Posted November 30, 2005 Yes I was also wondering how you like the D2X which I was considering as my main body, although I will now wait for the D200 before buying. I was concerned about using the D2X with the 18-70 DX, which on paper seems a mismatch in terms of price at least. Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted November 30, 2005 Julio, Ben, many thanks for visiting and your kind comments. Dieter, Kit Yoong, the D2X is great for portraits - skin tones, and bird close-ups as the higher resolution will ensure crisp clarity. The Nikkor 18-70mm DX ED is highly rated and produces very crisp quality albeit the reasonable price. I judge the quality of a lens more from personal experience and test reports. Expensive lenses does not necessarily equate to highest quality. Just check from the test report link and you'll get an idea. http://www.photodo.com/nav/prodindex.html Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 17, 2006 Another very intricate, balanced composition with numerous complex elements crafted carefully together. The reflection on the water is especially beautiful. Link to comment
