carsten_ranke 0 Posted November 27, 2005 Perfect exposition and very nice composition - unmanipulated, so it is very good i-camera work. Hats off ! Link to comment
poutnik 1 Posted November 27, 2005 Carsten, thanks, the composition is definitely unmanipulated and it is full frame (no crop), but I spent quite a long time manipulating the light/shadows of different parts of the photo... :-) But that does fit under the unmanipulated statement though... Thanks again... Jiri Link to comment
davidroossien 0 Posted November 27, 2005 It's "dreamy". A solid cropping job--I like the dark left cloud. It could be even darker for more drama, if you wanted to go that way. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted November 29, 2005 Jiri, beautiful scene, well croped and executed, I like the angle, the dark sky and a little blue on the other side...Pnina Link to comment

colin carron 58,916 Posted December 8, 2005 The cloudy sky adds so much character to the shot and makes for a good light. Link to comment
jamesbond5 0 Posted December 8, 2005 Hi Jiri. I visited a lot castles of Czech Republic, but I`m not sure this one. Is it perhaps Landstejn or Svihov?:) Tomasz from Poland. Link to comment
poutnik 1 Posted December 8, 2005 Tomasz, this is not strictly in the Czech republic, though it was photographed when I was still standing in the CZ :-). It's across the bordering Thaya (Dyje) river in Austrian vilage Hardegg. Quite close to "Vranov nad Dyji". If you haven't seen them, I recommend both... Jiri Link to comment
aivarmikko 0 Posted December 11, 2005 Seems rather real - must be good exposure. Nice composition and place. Link to comment
kim_tural 0 Posted December 17, 2005 This as rather dreamy. Great colours as you took advantage of a break in the clouds and got some wonderful lighting. Link to comment
