The winter in Sweden don?t offer so much light so I try to play

after dark. How does it work?

Neat plastic.

At 1600 ASA the digital noise is fairly disturbing.

That is the reason for the heavy use of neat image.

How did you light the girl? Reflectors?

The light on the girl was setup by a flashlight trough an transparent umbrella.

On some other pics in this series I used a reflector, but it was difficult to get enough light in her eyes

By looking at blot of ink physiologist can tell a lot about you and your imaginations, perhaps pictures works just as well?

If you se a women in the street at night dressed up to a party, do you automatically think she looks like a hooker? What?s wrong with your imagination?

The idea with this session was to start a serie, and train my skills on shooting in very low ambient light, the inspiration for this was some old pictures from rolling stone magazine and the Anastacia video left outside alone. Depending of the street light you can get a yellow ore blue environment.

she is dressed like a hooker, than every girl I have seen at college in the last year are escorts as well. Looks like advertising to me. Would you say some dude in similiar get up is a gigalo? Thats 3rd world thinking for achaeic times. Embarrassing.

I think this is one of your best. As you've noticed it is not so easy to combine darkness and soft light. The hilites are really good here, you got almost perfectly lit face and there is just the right amount of detail in the dark outfit. Besides all this, it is moody. I wish I had shot this. Good!

Nice lighting. Maybe a lower ISO and longer shutter speed.
