Beautiful shot! Trapped here in Chicago I can really appreciate this scene. I can almost feel the breeze. Just one thing though; next time take me with!

This is wonderful, Ken! The sky is amazing! I wonder if the sky is this beautiful in St. John's every day? Why am I living in DC??? :-) Wonderfully aesthetic capture!

I chose my original composition, "Island Rainbow" (6:21 min), to accompany this image. The tune is from my CD, Nightfall. I performed and recorded all the parts on my keyboard synthesizer. I also did the post-processing work. If you would like to hear the tune, press the play button >. You don't have to listen to all 6:31 min and can stop at any time by pressing the stop button. A minute or so of play will give you the island flavor of this tune.

Very delicate appearance, sky and the water colors are beautiful, I herd the music attached and got the feeling of being in one of the boats and hearing the music,.. well life is good that way... thanks for sharing, Pnina

Ken, great sky, clear water, nice boats, warm temps. I think this image works and communicates that I am in the wrong place. Well done!

Here's the lead sheet for the music. It is for the melody only; the rest of the tune was improvised and then edited with my keyboard sequencer.

While the colors are quite pleasing, I believe this is an image that could also work in b&w or sepia. It has strong shapes and the sky is very dramatic. Of course, the color version is very beautiful, as it is.

Ken, please keep the colour! In London it is cold and wet and grey but this is a breath of warmth and sunlight and blue skies. The colour of the water is breathtaking.

Indeed this will work as b&w as well per Kim's suggestion, but I personally prefer color, especially when it comes to tropical images. No better way to communicate and represent the tropics with unique color palatte and subtleties. Only wish there's visible beach in foreground, but that's a minor point here. The sky & clouds, aqua green water, and yellow boats are the main ingredients here IMO.

I like both color & sepia. While color does portray a tropical feel, it also gives more of a postcard look (nothing wrong with that). Sepia gives it a little more of an artistic feel, imo. Depends on what you want to go for, I guess. Anyway, it's a great shot both ways.

Ken, I have seen skies, but this display of clouds is a true show. Excellent photo and I enjoyed looking at it listening to the joyous tune. As to which version, maybe the sepia makes the sky even more dramatic.

I prefer the colour version & the music goes so well with this image. Like I am really at this sunny place enjoying a ride out on the boat.

Very nice ambience Ken. You are a man of many talents, good at the keyboard, as a physician and also a competent photographer - what more can one ask for? Congrats to your achievements.
