billfoster 0 Posted November 29, 2005 A temple located about 20 minutes outside Hong Kong proper in the middle of government housing, this was probably my favorite place that I saw in my three days in Hong Kong. It was absolutely packed and I was the only westerner around. It's a new temple (1973) but I loved the how crowded and smoky it was and the seriousness of the place as well as the mix of "traditional" Bhuddism and folk practices. There must have been 150 people preparing sacrifices, lighting joss sticks and and shaking fortune sticks. Fascinating. Link to comment
