w. roger keagle 0 Posted November 25, 2005 Now you know that Cat lovers will object to this one...smiling...what fun this one is, having a day off or two, and time on your hands I would guess...what better way to send an afternoon...love it! Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted November 25, 2005 Roger, you got it! Playtime for me at long last! And I hope no one objects because this is a kitten from the stray cat that someone dumped upon us. She is going in to be fixed on Tuesday (if I can catch her) and we'll keep her and give her a good home. Link to comment
bmudd 0 Posted November 26, 2005 Hi Kim, roughest cat in the neighbourhood with his stitches scar across his face!!. Like it a lot, good choice of texture and blended very well. Thanks, by the way, for commenting on my work, i always value your opinion. Kind regards, Brendan Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted November 26, 2005 David, Brendan, Pulok, Jayme and Claude - thanks for taking the time to comment! Jayme, we miss you! Hope you are coming up with lots of creative ideas while you wait for your hand to catch up! Just goes to show how much we take things for granted until we can no longer do something we assume we always could. Link to comment

sarahunderhill 1 Posted November 26, 2005 I like this. I think it is very creative. It reminds me of a greeting card. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted November 26, 2005 Thanks, Denis & Sarah. Maybe I need to try this shot as notecards. Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted November 27, 2005 Kim- So true! I miss playing in earnest. I can only play for a few minutes at a time, then pain!! I am so tired of complaining, it is just not my style!!!!! The projection for recovery is mid to late March. It is only a few months away, but it seems like a lifetime. Thanks for missing me! Link to comment
kleintje 0 Posted November 27, 2005 Wonderfully done! She looks really vicious here... Good luck in catching her on Tuesday! Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted November 27, 2005 Good luck, Jayme - hope it's a very fast recovery! You've been through enough. Will keep you posted, Ilse. I'm going to try catching Cleo before Tuesday and keep her in the bathroom (she can't eat or drink after 10:00 p.m. Monday). She's going to be one unhappy little kitty! Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted November 28, 2005 THis is the most creative cat image I have seen in a long while, Kim. Looks like ancient remains, but with eyes that look alive. Link to comment
ljk 0 Posted November 28, 2005 This is interesting, Kim. Part sculpture, part pastel drawing, part handmade paper. All good :-) Link to comment

kslonaker 0 Posted December 18, 2005 Pitman, sometimes I wonder where these ideas come from and wonder if I'm completely sane! :) Link to comment

kslonaker 0 Posted December 19, 2005 It's actually quite easy...catch all the news on TV every single time and read the newspaper - if that doesn't drive you crazy, or at least send you into a deep depression, nothing will!! Link to comment
