Bente - I think I should change the bio photo because my dog died, I am glad you like it though. Amelia, W. Virginia was beatiful a few weeks ago, could have spent a few weeks there. Washington DC was fun but did not take that many photos. I was looking for boots at the VN Memorial though!

Very good shot, so I'm wondering what effects were used in PS, especially to get the detail in all those branches and twigs. This might be my favorite in your portfolio... Striking, and the kind of photography that really appeals to me.

Kalev, thanks for liking this photo. I use very little PS. Converted to BW, added a little contrast and mildly sharpened. I have Elements 2.0 and a Photokit sharpener for Elements plug in to convert to BW and sharpen. Keep it simple is my motto.
