jerrymat 3 Posted October 8, 2010 Really quite compelling! Perhaps you could have cropped higher to excluse some of the sand and show more sky. As it is the horizon line is just about dead center and the old compositional saying is "dead center is dead indeed!" Jerry Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 258 Posted October 8, 2010 Nice soft colors and attractive scenery, that's all what we need! Cheers Kevin!PDE Link to comment
vikingman 0 Posted October 8, 2010 Fantastic capture, lots of atmosphere in this one. A very captivating picture. I would concur with Jerry and go for including more sky and less sand. On the critique side, the horizon is not level and you have some fairly major sensor spots showing which you could easily clone out. There are two major ones in the sand area but also possibly a few much less noticeable ones in the sky. Cheers, erik Link to comment

stp 6 Posted October 9, 2010 Those are clouds to die for. I concur with Jerry and Erik: raising the camera would include more of that great sky and give more emphasis to it (as opposed to the uniform sand). I also think placing the posts closer to the bottom of the frame would help the composition. Attention to the details (sensor spots and level horizon) would put the finishing touches on a very nice seascape. Link to comment
marc_dilley1 0 Posted October 9, 2010 I concur with the others regarding the crop from the bottom to. Also the whites are a tad on the gray side to my eye. Link to comment
AliBM 0 Posted October 10, 2010 Beautiful shotI like the exposure and compositionIn my opinion, It needs a bit more contrast to bold the clouds Link to comment
