Lost in Time II

I find depicting old jewish cementaries rather hard, I have tried several times and the problems I encountered were similar to what I see in this shot. I would like more contrast on the areas with inscriptions so that these could be seen more clearly. The Gravestones look very crowded, the foreground weighs too heavy. The lack of any form of a horizon adds to the pressure that feels wrong for an open ground as this one. I would like to see what lies beyond the cementary, and would like a clearly defined main element in the picture that was not pitch black. A high stand would help this shot as would shifting your lens down, just in case the equipment you use allows shifts...
