The Lion of London

The Lion of London was taken with a Nikon 5700. I was intrigued by

the darkness of the lion and the light background and wondered if

the camera could cope with the two.

Thanks for your comments Maria, unfortunatly no! the sky was burned out due to the low F stop to get the detail in the dark image. I have used a fill in to do the sky :( However I thought it made it more dramatic :) Thanks for looking

I really like this photo, Rob and I think the dramatic lighting effects work well. My first trip out of the country in 1992 was to London, and this was one of my favorite places. Thanks for the nostagia!

1992 that was some time ago, however I'm glad that you enjoyed the image it's one of my favourite as it was one of my first images since I restarted.
