j_m_lee_photography 0 Posted November 23, 2005 I've been to Wat Chalong many years ago, Wow! The new temple looks a lot better than the old Shine. Very good DOF and also the composition. Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted November 23, 2005 Yes Spencer, there are actually 2 new additions and this one has 4 levels with the highest level housing the cremated artifacts of their late senior monks. The architecture is awesome with many ornate statues of Buddha. If you observe carefully, I composed the image carefully so that all the Buddha figurines are visible to balance the image. The F2.8 ensure that there is available light to shoot without flash. Link to comment

LenMarriott 9 Posted November 24, 2005 Alec, I agree, very nicely composed and exposed. The 14mm is responsible for the more than adequate DOF even though you were at f2.8. Best, LM. Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted November 24, 2005 Julio, Joan, Len appreciate you guys being open and commenting on this image based on the aesthetics aspects as some are sensitive towards the religious inclination. Len, the Sigma 14mm F2.8 is simply awesome. Tack sharp and superb colors reproduction. Link to comment
