Colorful Lava

Photo quality is average, just testing the waters for interest in

subject.

I clicked on this thumbnail b/c I didn't know what this was. I only figured it out after reading that it was taken at Craters of the Moon. Without that bit of info... I'd still be scratching my head.

 

Now for the critique. The perspective throws me off... makes me a bit dizzy. Was the camera crooked? I think that my cerebellum would be happier if this was rotated 90 degrees clockwise. This shot is somewhat interesting, so mission semi-accomplished for you.

 

 

Nope, no angle at all. Taken directly overhead. Initially it threw me off as well. My wife wanted to call it Geovomit.

This is my kind of image...I find it fascinating, and very beautiful! I've been there, but obviously I didn't look close enough at the details!
