Thanks Yann, I hope it is a nice dream and not a nightmare... for me it was special to see, that's why I put the original with it, (perhaps not good for the illusion) but okay, I don't see this a lott, a blue (YES MY COLOR) umbrella floating in the canal

Blue dreams are always nice ones : ) This umbrella is like us, sometimes upside down, sometimes following life' river, out of our control.

You are so right Yann, difficult sometimes to try to have control over everything, that's my nightmare.

Helemaal jouw kleur he Els? Ik vind het een schitterende foto. Mooi die weerspiegeling van dat zeegroen/blauw-achtige kleurtje van de paraplu in dat zompige water van de gracht.

Lieve Ada, dankjewel, alles heeft en krijgt een verhaaltje bij me, jij zit midden in familie verhalen voor zover ik het allemaal nog kan volgen, want ik ben de draad allang weer kwijt, ik voel me wel een beetje zoals deze papaplu. En een beetje blue. triest kloteweer, hier geen sneeuw in Leeuwarden. En zeker nog geen dichte grachten.

I like the way the umbrella contrasts in brightness and form against its surrounding. As for turning it back upside down, nah. Would make it too usual. The composition and direction it's in give it something special, something you look back to.
