Shutter speed: 1/4000 sec
f-stop: f5.0
ISO 200 ASA

Early morning on fishing boat with my friend (around 6 AM). Almost full frame photo (did crop little bit on left and bottom). I did underexpose picture for about -1EV because those white feathers always get overexposed on bright sun.

i've seen lots of gull shots, but this one's got life! great movement (including water drops), great expression, great detail (good exposure). my only critique, and i'm being picky, is that i think it would have been a bit better without the slightly distracting shoreline color change in the background. a solid blue background would have finished this off superbly. regardless though, heck of a shot!!
