Elephant Seals In Love (1146)

Taken on the beach near San Simeon California. Both seals are male.

I don't know if the occurance of gaiety has been proven in animals beyond humans, but it is nice to see a tranquil photo of this animals, as so often the cameras are pointed to scenes of blood and tossles between these seals. Very good composition, showing the rest of the clan behind, and the golden light illuminates the animals well too.
