ada-ipenburg 0 Posted November 25, 2005 I like the wide angle in this shot. The row of houses leads the eye to the beautiful house with the typical gable centered at the end of the street. Your picture shows us a totally different view at the left with the tree and the dark house in the background. It was visible a rainy morning. I love the wet and shining street of clinkers. dguindon 0 Posted November 25, 2005 Sure, say you backed up and the tree took up a 1/3 of the photo and the leaves were bright orange. Your eye would stay too long observing colours,shapes or/and size of the tree and not long enough down the street or the sky and builings. As a result in my opinion the tree would be very over-powering...took all my attention...didn't look at much else but the tree. Hope that helped. After looking again...absolutely perfect crop. I would love to see this scene at night, with a moon and fog. Link to comment
