stormphotonet 1 Posted November 21, 2005 The Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building was a United States Government complex located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and the target of the Oklahoma City bombing. On the morning of April 19, 1995, Timothy McVeigh parked a rented Ryder truck with explosives in front of the complex and, at 9:02am, a massive explosion occurred which sheared the entire north side of the building, killing 168 people. The Oklahoma City National Memorial is in the middle of down town Oklahoma City in the midst of a busy city but it is one of the most peaceful places on earth to me. I was in my home that morning 10 miles west of the Murrah Federal Building and heard and felt the bomb. The chairs represent the souls that were lost on that day. They are on the ground were the building ones stood. There is a chair for each soul, with the name of the person engrave on the glass on the bottom. Thank you friends for looking at my work. It is my wish that each one of you are blessed today and are with your family and friends.
