j_m_lee_photography 0 Posted November 17, 2005 A ger is round, cone-shaped tent. A ger has only one door and no windows. But it has a small opening at the top, called a 'toono'' which allows smoke to go out of the stove's chimney. It is made out of boards with a wool covering so that it is easy to put up and to take down. That is its pinnacle to heavenward and signifies the sureness of the soul, and you've captured the soul with your camera. Link to comment

daily_photograph 0 Posted November 18, 2005 Good you made that trip with its many chances after this year of experience - which is noticeable! All is fine. (Including the trick you strightened the picture without loosing the hills top and the edge of the tent on the right :-)) Link to comment
