carl smith 0 Posted October 25, 2001 In response to your e-mail, you're right, it is enjoying yourself that matters. And I'm glad you are. I have to make my work more than just enjoying myself because I'm out for a grade. But i enjoy getting better results and its somethign I want to do anyway. If it were just for a grade, I'd have little fun doing it. I think this photo is pretty interesting. I wish it had more color to it. Perhaps you could try to shoot to avoid more of the light and perhaps you could also throw on a polarizer and wait for a cloudy day to get better color saturation without the white-out in the sky. kkwan 0 Posted March 21, 2002 I like how you used the cave to frame your shot. The rock anchors the foreground well but I would prefer a less central placement. The sky is a little blown out but it's not that badly distracting. I really should doing some shooting in this area, considering I live 20 minutes from here. Good shot! Link to comment

ducksquat 1 Posted April 24, 2004 Interesting fram but sky is overblown and not enough detail in the walls. Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted April 26, 2004 Don, Thanks for the positive comment. This shot is re-doable & next time I'll try for blue skys & white fluffy clouds, then paint the interior with flash at about -2 stops compensation. Then I'll re-post. Best, LM. Link to comment
