Its just practise Rabinder, you properly work and don,t have as much time as me I spend about 10 hours a day at it, a luxury you can afford when you are retired.If you have photoshop just a basic one you can work on them afterwards, like cutting the glare down and sharpening a bit.

Thanks Birte, I agree with your comments, I am in service and will retire in Dec.2010, I spent only a fraction of time for Photography at present, but I will try to devote much more time in this field.

Just thought I would tell you Rabinder.I actually came across one of these moths yesterday while out shooting, I took five shots and they all turned out not as good as this one.So even if you are practised it happens.Have a nice day, and you are going to love retirement.

Beautiful photo ! Perhaps this is not a Moth but a Butterfly in the skipper family (Hesperiidae).
