A simple portrait. Is it too simple?

It is not too simple but I feel like you should try slightly different crop... Move eye more to the thirds... Way it is now I feel that you have too much space on the upper and right part of this image. :)

I have to say Mrgud, you are probably correct.

Good color balance. I see it more as a portrait than a fashion shot though.

You are possibly correct about it being a portrait. I don't really think that is too important though.

My, my, tack sharp and very natural colors. Lovely bokeh, you got everything going here. She's a natural.

Thanks Wim. I did like the colours in this picture myself but perhaps not as much as the girl.

A beautiful portrait is never simple, since it reflects not only the personality of the subject but the feeling of the same and the personality of the photographer. She is beautiful and you have captured her with a great softness and expression, not to mention great colors.

Simple is always most safe. This one is great. Very charming and personal. It is VERY tight, but it certainly works for me.

I like this one, David. The tones, the colours, THE LOOK! I was going to make a comment about the light on the models face but it does add tonal contrast and blends well with the the cap and hair. Nice one. Regards.

Phillip, Simple is usually safe as you point out. However, quite often it is very boring. The thing that makes this photograph 'OK' is the fact that the girl is beautiful. Thanks for the comment.

just thought id give a compliment where its due. i think this is a fantastic looking image, just something about the pose and the look in her eye that is just simply pleasing. allways a pleasure to see your work. cheers friend and please keep shooting.

Levi, Thanks for the comment. The photograph is quite simple. I think the reason most people like this is because the girl is pretty.
