petervannugteren 4 Posted November 15, 2005 Machtig weergegeven oer-emotie en een krachtige creatie bovendien Bianca! Complimenten. Ben toch benieuwd hoe een liggende uitsnede zou staan met ruimte rechts. Groetjes Peter Link to comment

ada-ipenburg 0 Posted November 16, 2005 Angstaanjagend goed!!! Zucht..... Lieve Groetjes, Ada:) Link to comment
abintraphoto 0 Posted November 17, 2005 Wow! - I'm a big fan of motion blur and this is very nice ... ! Some technical details please ? (-; Link to comment
biancavanderwerf 0 Posted November 17, 2005 Hihihi, bedankt lieve Ada.... Liefs! And Ken: technical details: 1 Canon Eos 300D, 1 tripod, 1 remote, 1 black curtain and 3 seconds to move....... That's all....;-).... Thanks for the comments, byebye! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted November 18, 2005 I'm honest: I'm not sure PS adds something here. Technically good but there's a lack of contrast, at least for my taste. But I like a lot this shot, could be more powerful with more constrast. Link to comment
biancavanderwerf 0 Posted November 18, 2005 I've tried more contrast, but what I hate is that the white details get overexposed so easy, so you lose all the details in the white. Do you know a trick to prevent such a fact? Because I agree with you.... Waiting very curious for your answer....:).... greetz! Link to comment
biancavanderwerf 0 Posted November 18, 2005 Haha, we were writing at almost the same time.... First of all, thank you for taking the effort to play with the image.... I like the contrast better in 'the screaming face', but for me the 'existing face' is equally important, because one thing 'grows' out of the other (it is difficult to explain in english, haha). In your suggestion the existing face falls in the shadow, which is more dramatic, but I think I need that expression to tell the story more... I have the idea that my computerscreen is setted a little bit darker than usual... so I see a lot of dark... Hihi. Thanks very much.. Link to comment

wolfman 0 Posted December 20, 2005 what I think?I think this is absolutely fantastic....great idea executed in best possible way). Link to comment
salvatore.mele 1 Posted January 17, 2006 This is very smart and very original. Actually, one of the most original things I've seen on photo.net in a while. An excellent idea. I have only two suggestions to add, the first is a square crop removing all the black above: I think having the screaming face in tighter quarters might add to the image. The second, is to try to achieve higher-contrast images a` la Yann. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted March 23, 2006 Yes, something like this, from left to right side, dear Bianca! Biliana Link to comment
anders_b 0 Posted November 26, 2006 This reminds me very much of a picture i made recently. What comes changing contrast without blowing out the highlights: try playing around the curves and levels tool. That usually works for me. Your gallery is very inspiring. Keep up the good work!
