ZuikoD 0 Posted November 15, 2005 This is a very beautiful and dreamy photo. I would add a bit of contrast to the center portion of the picture, the woman and the door. The idea is very good but the lack of tonality in this area, our focal point, makes me think about the technique and forget about the dream. peace Link to comment

kevinconroyfarrell 0 Posted November 19, 2005 I like the way you reference 19th century symbolism with the dress, the doorway and the pose. My humble technical comment is that there is too much detail in the walls and rocks. Exposing for the shadows in this way has blown out the doorway and the girl, the real subject. I would reshoot, metering for the light, and let the shadows be damned. There would still be enough light in the doorway to establish place. Link to comment
