Fall Colors

Nice catch of the light falling on the bushes.

It was the light that stopped me, Bente. Fall colors were all around, but the light really caught my eye. Seems the camera can never do nature justice, though.

you got that right, been trying this past few weeks for that ultimate autumn(fall) shot. still eludes me. :0)

At least you get autumn, Pitman! We had to travel to find the colors - S Texas doesn't really have seasons. It's going to be 90 degrees today, but will fall to the 60's tomorrow, then back up to the 80's in 3 days!

Too bland for an autumn picture?

Wonderful use of textures and color tones. Makes for an eye-catching picture. You have achieved what many of us strive for: making a real picture out of what usually looks like a jumbled mess (on snapshots). Good job. Regards, Wolf.

I happen to like the more subtle colors of autumn...it's like twilight after bright sunshine. Soft and beautiful in an understated way....

I like the portrait format for this ... it creates a nice gradation from brights to darks. Or maybe it's the wine.... ;-)
