Well dear Mark :) I see you have changed your camera :) me too :) but I was wondering what is this : 1x-5x in your camera details beside your lens Canon MP-E 65mm f2.8 :)

are those diopters?

Thanx Biliana. The MP-E 65mm macro lens is a specialized lens that is only manual focus, starts at 1x lifesize (with about a 4 inch working distance), and goes up to 5x life size (with a working distance of about 1 inch). It is not an easy lens to use, but I have found it to be the ultimate lens for extreme macro.
