This is one of those images that needs a second and third look. Fall is a precursor to the winter, and it's easy to forget that autumn can be every bit as lovely and enticing as spring. This is more than a gentle reminder of that. Thank you for taking the time to capture this idyllic scene and frame this for us to see.

its been said before but here it goes- this is really really pretty. I think I might like to even be there. Everything seems just about perfectly set in the frame.

Knicki...funny you say it that way, because I realize why this is not my usual. I rarely take a pretty pretty picture, at least not to share. There are so many fine landscape photographers here, that are far superior to me. But you're also right in that this is just a peaceful, calm place to be. The park was designed by Fredrick Law Olmsted....

Yes, the scene is absolutly lovely!

Hi Linda...I like the diagonal lead lines extending to and under the bridge. The eye follows it and is welcomed by the warm splash of color beyond. The sky works well, and is nicely exposed. A Very Good photograph, perhaps even more so being unmanipulated!

By the way, I think I see Robin Trower in this somewhere (or was that Hendrix?). Regards.
