Bruges (Belgium) is a very beautiful town I wish you to visit one

day. The first day we were here, it was raining. Passing in the

breidelstraat, a paved street leading to the Burg, the main place of

the town, I saw this square puddle on a sort of trapdoor in the

middle of the street where the houses were reflected in. There was

many people walking in the street during I were installing my camera

on the tripod and doing the adjustments, and some of them where

stoping to watch in the puddle what was interesting to photograph in

there.

I love the tones in this shot, but it's the composition that makes it so special for me. The large rotated square coming close to but not touching two sides of the frame, surrounded by curving lines that are themselves defined by small squares... and then, of course, the nice grainy reflection of the interesting architecture in the puddle. So much to enjoy here - congrats!!

You certainly have an eye for original compositions. This is just superb, great framing and placement of the subject matter.

Well done

Wet streets after rain and mirroring effect, I just love those kinds of images, this one especially.
