This was on the sidewalk at an American Independence Day parade in a small town in the Los Angeles, California area. The flag, although huge, wasn't heavy enough to knock anyone down. The fire department had just gone by in vintage firetrucks and they passed out toy fire helmets. This image is slightly cropped.

Hi, you know, all my life people have put an "e" at the end of my surname. I wonder if they've been leaving it off yours? I feel like I have a twin on Photo Net, despite our differing styles.

M- The crop is almost insignificant. I took the foot off of the boy on the right so that he was walking out of the frame. Unfortunately, I don't think I kept the original file. I am smarter about that these days.

when people leave the e off my name. There's a Peter Mead in my company directory, we are forever redirecting e-mails.

 

We do have very different styles. Perhaps we ought to try the same thing occasionally!
