ljk 0 Posted November 10, 2005 Now this is different from you, Walter...more my style really ;-) That being said..I love it! You are a master at the simple as well as the complex. Th color and textures combine to make this work. Link to comment
jmoody 0 Posted November 10, 2005 I agree, kind of a Linda Keagle/Sarah Underhill feel here with the isolated bright colors and forms. Very nice effect with the composition. Like it very much Link to comment
WJT 609 Posted November 11, 2005 Well, I took this one a rather long time ago when I was youthfully backpacking through the Continent. I was much simpler then (or simple headed, I'm not sure which ;0) Thanks and Regards. Link to comment
jay_patel 0 Posted November 23, 2005 Very nice tones and colors. This has a nice artistic feel to it. Walter, I have a presentation coming up at Appalachian outfitters on Jan 27. I would love to see you there. Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted November 24, 2005 Yes, nice colours and detail. It feels as though it is in shadow(?) Link to comment
WJT 609 Posted November 29, 2005 Well Colin, this is going back a few years. If memory serves correctly, this life preserver and box was indeed in shadow, mounted on a outrdoor wall that had an overhanging roof extending out several feet. The lighting was completely diffuse.
