alexguerra 0 Posted November 10, 2005 Thank you all for your appreciations! Sabina, no doubt those streets are dynamic, specially when it rains they can get reallyyyy slippery! Link to comment
razvan 0 Posted November 11, 2005 The photo is so clean, very nice composition, good chosen black/white balance! Link to comment
marco_ruggiero 0 Posted November 12, 2005 I like the composition of this image and the depth. The legs do it for me and the shadows reflected in the rainy street are truly well captured. Congrats. Link to comment
alexguerra 0 Posted November 12, 2005 Pantescu and Marco, thank you for your comments. In fact it was not raining at all, the street is dry and it shines because of the polishment due to usage over the years. Link to comment
fpferreira 0 Posted November 14, 2005 Espectacular. O Jogo de Luz, sombra e reflexos e' fantastico. O "pequeno" pormenor de ter capturado aquele movimento nao e' menos importante. ParabenS! Link to comment
sigfridlopez 0 Posted November 16, 2005 Nice textures in a well cropped original shot. The lightened reflections on the wet blocks immediatly catch your attention, while the application of such an extreme perspective -like I recall in other of your photos- gives the picture your personal trademark. Excellent b/w, but this is not new in your portfolio: you seem to dominate such hues in a mastery way. Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted November 17, 2005 An interesting crop & composition. Nice idea to enhance the cubic pavement with the life of walking. Link to comment
alexguerra 0 Posted November 17, 2005 Nova, Fernando and Cherlyn thanks for viewing and for your nice comments. Sigfrid, thanks a lot for your kind words but, as I wrote before, the pavement was not wet; it looks like that even when dry. Link to comment
palomaramirez 0 Posted November 18, 2005 I like the black and white and very nice composition. Congrats Link to comment

bukovsky 0 Posted December 15, 2005 I like this picture because of the pattern and simplicity. I am also a fan of B&W and this is a typical shot for that area. Well done. Peter Link to comment
annie_ferderer 0 Posted January 2, 2006 I like the simplicity of it... the bw is really good and overall it's interesting and beautifully done. best wishes annie Link to comment
alexguerra 0 Posted January 6, 2006 Peter and Annie, simplicity is also the reason why I like this photo and it's what I always try to achieve, so I'm very glad you both liked it. Thanks for passing by. Link to comment
sanjavel 0 Posted February 23, 2006 Great composition and perspective in this image, it has the nicest grey tones you could possibly get out of this situation. Regards, Sanja Link to comment
alexguerra 0 Posted February 27, 2006 Thank you very much for your nice comments on my photos Sanja. To get thesw grey tones I was helped by the natural colours of the cobbled stones; a mix of white, blue and brownish ones. Link to comment
