Hi Ellen, I've just been cruising through your portfolio and came across this lovely shot. I've taken many photos of the swans here but never anything like this. I like the way the wings blend into the water seamlessly, as though they become part of it. And the textural detail in his neck is great. There are a few blown out areas which I know are a real problem with swans and water, and I would have liked to see a little more space on the right. But I know these fast moving situations aren't always so controllable. You've done a very nice job regardless. Your entire portfolio is enchanting, particularly the numerous studies of the ladybug.
