Floodlight

An old lady carrying her fuel wood on a hilly road in Himalayas. But

look at her face; is it not a billion dollar smile? I find lots of

floodlights switched on together.

Utterly beautiful. These mountain people in India can never stop smiling can they? Great work. But i think the frame distracts.

I'd crop a bit on the top and it would look better with shallower dof. You can't expect better sharpness from this lens (I know that for myself, because i own it), I suggest you try a prime lens, which would give you superb results (I use Canon EF 50 1.8 II, which is 3 times cheaper than this one, and 10 times better).

A terrific portrait! Well composed with excellent quality. She does have a great smile. I don't absolutely hate the frame because the color is so neutral and picks up on some of the colors in the photo, but I think a different, less complex frame might work better. Nice work, indeed!

...for your valuable comments. When the frame is concern, actually I want to add the happiness in the frame also, so I used such a complex frame, normally I do not use complex frames. Anyway thank you all again.

Please remove the frame.
