Thanks all for passing by and commenting. This photo was taken with full zoom from some 20 meters distance (the sharpness is not the best). Mark, I called him survivor because that was the feeling I got only when I saw this photo on the computer screen, his 'talking' eyes along with the impression I got from him in the street being probably a homeless, survivor of a tough life... I felt small.

You did capture a very interesting face! The eyes do get you here. The jacket he is wearing adds to this feeling of 'survivor'. Nice composotion with the hood and off center placement of the man. Perfect DOF. Nice light.

A great shot of an incredible character. Incredible composition and as it has been said before the eyes make the image, although the entire composition is supreb..

the white edge on the man's form nicely defines the composition...only B&W may suit this theme..colors will distract ..well thought of...
