8:51 PM, D70, AF300-2.8, ISO-1600, 1/250 @f2.8, SB-800 @-1.3, hand-held. Kamiak's quarterback Jake Jansen (#4) fakes a hand-off to running back Josh Reed (#22) in a WesCo South 4-A game against Edmonds-Woodway. Knights were held to under 150 total offensive yards as Warriors won 24-7. This is part of my "Friday Night Lights" local high school football presentation.

I appreciate the details you included, particularly how you used the flash.

I'd love to be able to see the eyes of the QB, which is really my only "complaint" about the shot. I love the way that he seems frozen, while the back (because of his motion) and the lineman (maybe because he's out of focus) are moving around him.

I'm curious, where was your flash mounted? I have played with mounting it below the camera (with a clamp on my monopod) and thought that had promise because it helped get more light up under the helmet/facemask.

Anyway, great job.

The colors with the night lighting are very pleasing as well as the action itself...good one.

You caught very nicely the "give and take" action Wilson, and the diagonal movement for that action brings tention to the image. well done also with the accentuated blues.

well, to tell you again that you are too much?...lol Pnina
