There's something about the black background that I don't much like. But, this is still quite an interesting shot. And, your head-on mozzie shot is fantastic!

if you dont mind my asking, what lens did you use with your Canon 20D to get this great Macro?

Thanx to all for the feedback and kind words on this image. Rick, as listed in the details tab, the lens used was a "Canon MP-E 65mm f2.8 1x-5x". I haven't had it for long and it is not an easy lens to use, but I love it (for example, this shot is full frame).

Dang, I can feel the sucker biting me!  Great shot but I hope you smacked him good afterwards ;-)... Mike
