malcolmdwyer 0 Posted October 7, 2001 Captured this one in a Wendy's parking lot after my friend threw a french fry to the gulls. This is cropped from a larger image. The original has several more birds, and more clutter in the background. Is the cropping good/bad? -Thanks, Malcolm Link to comment
skooter 0 Posted October 7, 2001 A good photo of what could have been a very mundane subject..I mean, seagulls in a parking lot? Who would've thought. Nice shot. (There's now a flock of seagulls descending on my home seeking revenge...must run...now!) Link to comment
julietray 0 Posted October 7, 2001 I agree - I think the cropping works very well. When I first looked at this, I was thinking, how could he have gotten such a perfect shot? So, I think that says something good about the cropping. I remember going to a Wendy's in New Hampshire as a kid and feeding the seagulls there...this photo bring back summer vacation memories. fmueller 84 Posted October 7, 2001 I would try to get rid of the car tyre - even at the expense of loosing some of the wing. If you have some more space at the bottom to get the second bird's feet in that would be great too! Awesome shot anyway! BTW, there is no Wendies in Australia :( Could you send me over some Junior Bacon Cheese Burgers? ;-) Link to comment
