Does it work?

The first thing I noticed was her eyes, the next thing my eyes went to is the top surface of the seat cushions, then the couch, and last of all I noticed what she was wearing. I guess I'm mentioning these things as a point of view based on study of fashion photography, not really on the photo itself. The model, color and comp look good.

It tells me that I must practice a much more stringent control of light. Something I have in no way mastered. Thank you for your time and insight.
