Simon Says..."Follow the leader"

In my view, any shot with a duck in it is immediately elevated to exhibition standard. You have several ducks in this one and it therefore should be photograph of the week next week! You can never have too many ducks!

Well, I do have a couple of issues with the shot however. Firstly, I find the duck bottom left of frame a little too close to the edge. I'm not sure if you've cropped this side of your shot but it would have been nice to have a bit more room there.

Secondly, I like the exposure for the water but I think it results in the ducks being a bit underexposed. Maybe spot metering off a duck and sacrificing some of the reflections in the water may have been an option.

I like your title and definately like your subjects :)

Thank you Mark for your kind comments and your constructive critique. I too agree that it would have been nice to have a little more room on the left side...it's just not in the picture! I agree with your spot metering suggestion. I appreciate your expertise as I am new to photography but also I realize I have limits with my camera. I don't use photo-shop either, which seems to apparently be used frequently.
