mark_j_james 0 Posted October 29, 2005 Hi Don, If I might be so bold, I dont think this really works. It feels flat. All the wonderful colours compress the image so it feels like a jumble. The wonderful arrangement of shapes that characteris most of your other other works, such as your image Tamanawas Falls, is lost in this assortment of colours. I really appreciate most of your work, this image just doesnt hold the same appeal to me as the rest of those images. Just my two cents, Mark James Link to comment

thadley 15 Posted March 23, 2007 Love the colors and elements in the photo. 6/6There is probably a 2nd photo here: one where I might have applied the rule of thirds, lowered the camera and have the reflection be two thirds of the photo. Just my little artistic view. Link to comment
whydangle 0 Posted August 29, 2007 Hi Don. I have not visited in a while and was just catching up. I don't remember seeing this one. This one actually works very well for me. I am not in agreement with many of the previous posts. This has great color and the reflection treatment throws out the rule of thirds (kind of like a sideways inkblot). The distant leaning deadfall pulls the eye in deeper. This is a fine image IMO. Link to comment
