She is tiptoeing on a mountain ridge 3400 meters above sea level, 800meters above the ground, and 5 meters above the cloud in a magnificentscenario in the Swiss alps.

Thecentral picture is an all-time favourite of mines here onphoto.net, and I thought about assembling the full sequence in atriptych.

Does the picture convey the sense of planning, exposureand exilaration climbing is all about? Your comments and criticism aremost welcome!

Absolutely scary! Back in college, I did this all the time. Now, my pants would need a change. The tryptic works well and I can feel the trepidation.

I like the idea of the triptych Salvatore, you got a nice sequence here

A personal appreciation is that I would love to see the hole scene without the square cropping, I think the air with those clouds around the granite monolith and climb enhances big time the take, regards

Amazing climbing sequence...

David, Ivalyo. Thanks for your support.

Ferrando. You are right, by all means. The problem is that I had shot the left-hand side shot vertical and the other two horizontal, so the only way to put together a tryptich was the square crop.

Daniele. You really read the picture the way it felt out there. I am glad I was able to convey this.As you can see here, this passage was quite exposed, and she was leading her ladies-only rope, the three moments were indeed of planning, of execution and of happiness once at the end. A day, as I was also discussing with Luca Baldassarre in this thread, we shall organise an alpine photo outing.
