Tree in the Gorge

Tripod & cable release. Possibly with my MD 100mm macro, can't recall. 4x6 print scanned on entry level scanner, then 'massaged' in PS. A 1 hr. wait at this location paid off in the illumination, by sunlight, of the dead tree in the photo. Some minor Levels, shadows\highlights, USM adjustment in PS. Then, conversion to B&W via 'Channel Mixer @ 70% blue, 30% red for best B&W rendition. Colours in the gorge are muted at best, more so using Portra 160 NC, so I thought that B&W was the way to go.
