alecee 0 Posted October 26, 2005 A stunning vista seldom seen due to difficult terrain to trek to this place. Link to comment
wernher 0 Posted October 26, 2005 Very good. The inclusion of the person for perspective and scale works very well. Link to comment
sbartlett 0 Posted October 26, 2005 Good shot, and I like the photographer-in-the-picture aspect. Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted October 26, 2005 Wernher, Stephen thanks for the comments. For your information the white spot in the center of the river is a 40 ft cruiser. This place is awesome. Link to comment

cherlyn 1 Posted October 28, 2005 Excellent landscape with excellent depth, esp the hanging rock. Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted October 28, 2005 Alec, The backlighting certainly bumps this one up a notch. It provides a 3D effect which accentuates the shapes and textures of the place. The person and (now that you have pointed it out) the boat both provide reference points which give us a sense of the size of this landmark. Nicely composed with only a sliver of the less interesting sky to provide a horizon reference for the viewer. Best, LM. Link to comment
daryl walter 0 Posted October 31, 2005 Nice picture Alec. Not sure about the difficult terrain - it's a short stroll from the car park!? Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted November 1, 2005 Cherlyn, Huy, Len, Pulok thanks for the comments. Daryl, It's about 1.5 miles uphill climb in high elevation Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted February 7, 2007 Looks like I'm going to be the lone dissenter but I'd like this better without the photographer and his accompanying shadow. Scale be damned. Having said that, a GREAT picture. Link to comment
