Painted Forest

When I look at my picture, it makes me think it's more like an oil

paint. I shot this one at ~60mm/f4.0. I wonder how would it look like

if I shot it with f2.8 -- do you think I made a mistake? I really do

not like 2.8 aperture on my lens as it's too soft, but it turned out

afterwards -- it would be something good here. Comments?
