maria 7 Posted November 7, 2005 As you can see here, one doesn't really have to climb. There are some stairs after passing the gate of the Acropolis, but the pedestrian zone, a very large one, has a gentle slope. Maria Link to comment
thomas_turk 0 Posted November 7, 2005 Good exposure and perspective. Lovely colors and textures of film BUT.... an earthy shot and we get all that bland sky. Blank off all above the top of the cumulus clouds and get a different feel. To have made the photo more interesting, you could have used a very low camera position, ie on your belly, and put the firat few metres of paving out-of-focus for added dimension. The tourist/schoolkids procession is good, but the two figures could have been much closer to the camera for added interest. Link to comment
maria 7 Posted November 10, 2005 Hi, thanks for the nice comment, really useful. Yes, I tend to put too much blue sky without nothing but colour in portrait format landscape shots - maybe because the sky I see usually is white-grey (I counted at least 7 layers of clouds when landing last time in Frankfurt). Attached a cropped version following your comments (the shadow in the front I've left). thanks again and best regards Maria Link to comment
