ldouglass 0 Posted October 24, 2005 interesting pose, would have liked to see the light come a bit down onto her leg/stomach area to bring your eye into the picture more. Link to comment
pbajzek 0 Posted October 25, 2005 I love the sort of "smiky" effect of the shadows here. I actually think a little more space above the head would help the composition a bit, though I realize you'd then lose the cool shadow at the bottom of the frame. Link to comment
robertfarnham 0 Posted October 25, 2005 I think I agree with you about the need for extra space, Peter. Perhaps I'll put my photoshop skills(?) to work. R. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted October 25, 2005 I agree about the space, but that doesn't mean you will lose the shadow at the bottom depending on how the frame was shot. I also agree about teh light would be best more foward giving just a hint of more detail of her body. The "smoke" effects are truly outstanding. I love it. Link to comment
robertfarnham 0 Posted October 25, 2005 This, actually, is full frame. No cropping here. Just checked the neg. I consider a 4x5 photo a 'sort of' failure if I need to crop for any reason. I should have seen it on the ground glass. However, PS can rescue me once again. :-) Link to comment
jwphoto 0 Posted November 13, 2005 This image is interesting from the knees up, although perhaps a little too dark away from her face. From the knees down there is a sudden unnatural-looking narrowing without additional definition. Link to comment
