cromwell1664877587 0 Posted October 26, 2005 Yes, Mihut. I pretty much trashed my f828. I was shooting bees facing in the general direction of the sun for about an hour with two 250d's attached. I guess with the right angle and the help of the diopters, the sun melted one of the blades that controls the aperture almost completely away. Now my aperture is locked at f8, but I have an extra hole where one of the blades was, so now I'm at roughly a constant f5 or f6....still good for IR shots though. I thought about waiting a little while to get the new Sony R1 when it came out, but I've been kind of itching for the 20d anyway and am very happy with it. Link to comment
