Chequerboard Walker

I thought the tables presented an interesting pattern, especially

without patrons, then by chance the restaurant worker walked past,

adding a sense of real-time to this shot.

I'm often surprised when pictures such as this elicit so little comment. I find it quite an original and attractive image, well framed and expressive of a very distinctive point of view.
